TWN range of Composite Timber Doors offer Clients and Architects many style options, sizes and colours. Manufactured from a 44mm solid-core laminate ply, that incorporates two sheets of aluminium they offer outstanding weather and security protection. Due to the construction of the door it reduces the risk of bowing or twisting, ensuring many years of trouble free operation. All doors are compliant with the requirements of PAS23/24, and are available with Secured By Design. The Main Entrance Doors are suitable for use in a range of situations, from Private Developments, Public Sector Buildings and Schools, and can be easily adapted as a means of Fire Escape.

Surface treatment:
The raw material of all wooden parts is slow-growing European pine, a renewable natural resource from the well-maintained forest. Before the surface treatment process, all of the components are inspected so as to meet the criteria. The quality standard of the timber used (laminated structure, knotless on viewable surfaces) minimizes the defects of the natural material and provides a good base for any selected coat. The base coat preservative treatment is done before any colour coat or lacquer is applied. All of the products are finished with water-based paint and lacquers.
Dual Colour:
You can specify different colours, both externally to internally, this can be done for the entire project or just some items. The choice is entirely down to your own preference.
Glass Options:
Options include Slolar Glass, Safety Glass, Obscure Glass, Laminated Security Glass, and Toughened Safety Glass, Self Cleaning Glass, Heritage Glazing special Double Glazed IG units for Listed Buildings. IG units with integral blinds fitted between glasses are also available. Please ask our sales staff for further information on options.
Glazing Bars:
We offer a wide range of glazing to personalise your own window. They are available for aluminium windows and for timber windows and door sets. You may need a more bespoke solution for a more traditional look, and then our range of plant on bars is the right solution for you. Plant on bars are available in a variety of sizes and styles, and are glued onto the glass fromboth sides. They create an impression of glass dividing bars. We also offer solid mullions, which divide the glass element.

Timber Windows Norfolk only uses market leaders such as Hoppe and Yale for their Handles and Locking Systems. We are able to offer from standard ranges and also source more bespoke options depending on the client’s requirements.
