Bandon Project

Self-Build Project in Bandon, County Cork, Southern Ireland.

We first met Mark and Paula back in 2009 when they visited the UK in search of Window and Door Suppliers for their Self Build Project. The build was a Closed-in Panel System (SIP’s), which was supplied by an Irish Timber Frame Company from County Wexford.

U-values and Thermal Performance of the Windows and Doors was the leading factor for the final choice of products, as well as budget.

TWN sourced a suitable specification of Composite Timber/Ali-Clad Windows and Doors, from their Supply Partners in Europe.

Some of the units were installed at the Timber Frame Factory and erected on site within the panels, whilst the larger Doors and Windows were installed on-site in December 2011 by Alopex (approved sub-contractors of TWN).

Project is programmed for completion by Winter 2012.
